This concentrated non-ionic emulsifier for jute fibres produces stable and inexpensive emulsions to assist in hard fibre processing. Neptune has created an emulsifier which, when used with FULLY REFINED WHITE OIL, gives an emulsion with the following benefits.

PREPARATION OF EMULSIONS

Typical Jute emulsion (1000 litres)

Pre-mix 3 litres Neptune Waft 3 with 97 litres of white oil to make

100 litres of oil / emulsifier pre-mix, then mix in

900 litres water

Apply 30% on long jute to obtain an oil content of 3%

On sisal apply at 17% to obtain an oil content of 1.5%

Both the oil / water ratios in the emulsion and the application rate should be varied to establish the best combination for your own oil.

MIXING PROCEDURE

1. IT IS ESSENTIAL that the Neptune Emulsifier Waft 3 is fully mixed with the white oil before adding water.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN UNSTABLE EMULSIONS
