OIL SOLUBLE DYES

Requires only 100 - 150 gms of dye per tonne fibre The Neptune range of oil soluble dyes are formulated specifically to provide an effec-tive and economical method of dyeing baler twines. These dyes are not water soluble and therefore cannot be used with low oil "stainless batches". The dyes can be sup-plied as part of the VR Emulsifier package or separately for the spinner to mix in the emulsion as required. The dye concentration in the final BATCHING EMULSION should be between 0.7 and 1.0 kg per tonne of emulsion. THE batching emulsion being applied to the fibre at 15-17% by weight. This will a dye use on the fibre of appox. 100 - 150 grams per tonne fibre. A typical emulsion to batch 1000 kgs of fibre would be:
Oilsol Green CS An Azo and Anthraquinine dye mixture which gives a durable light green at 100 gms / tonne fibre Oilsol Green SI Anthraquinine dye giving mid-green at 100 gms and dark green at 150 gms / tonne Oilsol Green Type 7 Oilsol Red A Phenyl-azo and Napthanol-methyl derivitave which gives a light pink at 50 gms and red at 100 gms / tonne Oilsol Yellow An Azo dyestuff giving a bright yellow at 140 gms / tonne fibre Oilsol Orange/Gold An Azo dyestuff gives a mid gold tint at 100 gms / tonne fibre Oilsol Blue SI An Anthraquinine dye producing a strong blue at 100 gms / tonne fibre |
