10 Litres of Neptune should be mixed with 190 litres of cold water in the following manner.

1. Add 100 litres of cold water to a suitable mixing vessel

2. Add 10 litres Neptune

3. Stir to form a white emulsion

4. Add a further 90 litres of cold water

5. Stir and the emulsion is ready for use.

The prepared emulsion is applied on the First Goods Machine at between 15% and 17.5% by weight giving a fibre oil content of less than 0.5%..
